Overview

A well-established Houston law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal while providing comprehensive litigation support to the firm’s attorneys.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of plaintiff litigation experience and be comfortable managing cases throughout the litigation process. Because this firm handles litigation exclusively, strong litigation and trial preparation experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys and the Senior Litigation Paralegal with all phases of litigation.
• Prepare, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Coordinate and manage discovery, document production, and case files.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related events.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and other trial materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and vendors.
• Provide additional litigation support as needed to ensure cases move efficiently through the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong litigation and trial preparation experience is required.
• Thorough knowledge of Texas litigation procedures and court deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal software.

Compensation & Benefits
